About The Artist

Dots by Jenn was created 2 years ago by myself Jennifer Abelson. I was born and reside in Red Deer, Alberta with my two charming children and supportive husband Dave.

As long as I can remember I have been creating art is one form or another. I was fortunate to have an amazing mentor and art teacher who inspired me to take up painting in my school years. Although I have tried many other careers on for size throughout my life, I always seemed to return to the arts.

Mandala and dot painting has became a passion of mine these past few years. It is a way for me to free my mind, express my creativity and find focus. I am self taught in mandala and dot art and continue to learn new techniques with this form of art.
